Honeycomb

I have been wanting to explore the beauty and mystery of bees. I keep having beautiful visions of honeycombs and I want to incorporate that hexagonal shape into the next series of work starting in the fall. I also love the idea of stacking work to make totems for outdoor sculpture. I plan to explore these ideas over the next few months as I start to produce new work.

Recent Happenings...

I have been neglecting my blog recently, but this is an attempt to capture some highlights. In this group is images of being on stage at Gathering of Artisans, in Black Mountain NC, my work (last image of pitcher) for the HCC Alumni Show, medallions made for Beltane Boogie here in Hillsborough, Kid's Craft Market, Sink that was a commission, my kiln firing away, and the Mother's Day Spring Show. It has been a full year of blessings and busy, fun, creative days.
